MP3 Audio Entertainment System is an off shoot of myMP3. This is a set of Perl scripts that interface with MySQL so as to enable provision of streaming MP3's over the net. This set is a comprehensive package which includes just about everything that you would need. Some of these are sql scripts, shell scripts and Perl cgi.

PlayList Generator FX PlayList Generator FX is perl-CGI script that generates playlist for
streaming media. After configurating this script, everything you have
to do, is upload your media files to server (or delete some of them).

Real Music Jukebox This is a basic RealAudio Jukebox program. While using this program, you can build a list of your favorite songs. It allows you to customize a song list.

myMP3 This set of perl and mysql based cgi-scripts allows you to set up and manage your own archive of mp3 files. The set includes tools such as web based admin to enable add, delete and update of database.

mediawrap mediawrap transparently handles media files. After installing mediawrap, you just link your media files as you normally would and mediawrap will take care of them. Therefore, you do not need to create ram-files or something similar.

RipIT RipIT is used to create MP3 audio files from an Audio CD. It is a console based front-end without any fancy GUI. It is written in perl for dagrab for ripping the Audio CD tracks, lame for encoding the MP3 files and CDDB_get for CDDB retrieval.

BBJuke BBJuke is an easy to use interface to shout/icecast. It’s a small Perl script that uses a MySQL database and shout to stream MP3 files to icecast.

Wavtoreal.pl Wavtoreal is a perl script for use with a console-based real producer. This script asks you for several options, after you have filled them in, a real-audio-file is generated. Presently it is written only for wav-files, but it can be changed for movies also.
