The main feature of this program is the facility for searching the archive 'From' and 'Subject' lines for dates. However, this is not a substitute for a newsreader. This program helps make a local newsgroup (such as mysystem.announce) available off site or as a service to on site people, retain a permanent record of a newsgroup in a usable, searchable, format and has sufficient storage to store the archive. It is possible to use Usenet-Web with NNTP access.
